It may seem a shame to step outside such a beautiful building, but nothing beats the great outdoors. Our gardens, set among Addington’s beautiful parklands, allow you to step back, and enjoy an outdoor drinks reception or photo opportunities with a palatial back drop.
Our Gardens
“The park, was planned by Barlow Trecothick who employed one the great landscape gardeners of his age, Capability Brown. Although little of Browns work can be seen today, the grandest of them all remains, namely a majestic cedar of Lebanon tree. The tree is backed by some of the original wall built in the 1700’s. If you really want to step back in time, look out for the Sweet Chestnut trees that were likely planted by the Leigh family, who lived on the estate in the early 1700’s before the palace was built.”
